Brown Rice means Only husk is removed for brown rice. No other processing is done to the rice thereby keeping both the bran and germ intact hence most nutritious. Brown rice may have a lower glycemic index than white rice. It takes little longer than white rice to cook. If you have any difficulty to use this rice on daily basis, I recommend to use this rice to make dosa batter.
